James began his career at Metters and Wellby Architects as a young apprentice and is now a Chartered Architectural Technologist and Company Director. He is driven by the challenge of designing stunning architecture that delivers on the client's brief while satisfying planning obligations and building regulations. James recently won the National LABC award for best conversion project for his design of the Ship House Appledore. When he's not in the office, you’ll find him rowing for Bude Pilot Gig, either on the water or on the rowing machine.
